The use and operation of the building is governed by the moral and ethical values of the church. It is not possible to use the building for any activity or event that the elders or trustees of the Community Church consider inconsistent with the church's values or charitable aims. In order to assess this, we need to ask you to supply details of the nature of your organisation and the event you are planning (see attached Agreement For Hire).
Some key points to note:
Outside of office hours an approved key holder needs to be appointed to open and close the building. This person is not permitted to pass their keys to someone else, but must be present to open and close the premises in person.
Also, it may be necessary to keep the entrance doors locked during your meeting.
There is wheelchair access to the ground floor and we have a Disabled Toilet on the ground floor.
If your event creates more rubbish than the existing bins will contain please use black bin liners (in kitchen cleaning cupboard) and take your rubbish away with you.
We can supply most meeting equipment our price list is detailed below.
We can provide Tea, Coffee and biscuits for your event, this is on a self service basis.
We can supply buffet lunches, consisting of freshly made sandwiches, crisps\snacks, selection of fruit, cake & juice.
